About Dayton Talks
Dayton Talks is two things under one roof: a real-name community where Greater Dayton neighbors talk to each other, and an independent newsroom that reports on this region with named bylines and published standards. The two are always clearly labeled so you know whether you're reading a neighbor or a journalist.
What we cover
Dayton, Kettering, Oakwood, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Centerville, Trotwood, Miamisburg and the rest of the Miami Valley. We report on schools, housing, small business, local government and — deliberately — the good things happening here that other outlets skip.
How we're funded
Reader support, local sponsorships and clearly marked partnerships. Sponsors never review or influence reporting, and every sponsored item on the site carries a Sponsored label.
